Come into the empty places
Where no one else wants to be
The secret dark places
That we hide away
Come into the hurting places
Throbbing with pain
Come into the cavern of silent and Screaming grief
That no one else wants to hear or see
Come into the slime pool of sin
That lurks so near
You died to sweep it away
Come into our burdens that stagger Our imaginations
You would carry them for us
If we would only let you
Come into our sea of emptiness
That we fill with things and more Things
You want to fill it instead with you
Come into the blind alley of rejection
Filled with thieves that slice and cut Our self
Robbing our destiny and our treasure
Cover us with the robe of eternal Acceptance
Rescue us from the screaming winds of Shame
Place us into the deep peace of your Eternal arms
Come into the terrors and mocking Faces of our weaknesses
With your loving countenance alone
Come Savior of our soul
Take us to the Heavenly places
Come, Come, Come.
